Overview
We are seeking a Temporary cushion pad production worker to add to our busy team due to new customer/contract and a need to extend our production hours to ensure higher volume output. The role is very active working on both our feather & hollowfibre production lines. Tasks will involve filling feather machine with feather, operating feather & hollowfibre filling machines, packing, vacuuming and banding orders prior to dispatch. General warehouse duties which include moving bales of feather with hand barrows and also dealing with inbound deliveries. this role is quite active so a good level of fitness/strength is required. Full training will given on all roles asked to perform. Clean driving licence essential as maybe required to make deliveries in company vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret orders accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Required Mon-Thu 10am - 5pm, Fri - 10am -1pm (31.0 Hrs)
- Paid lunch break of 30 mins
- Contract 12 weeks may lead to permanent contract
- Paid weekly after working week in hand
Requirements
- Must be physically fit
- Reliability & promptness is an essential requirement.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Industrial sewing machine is highly desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
- Holder of clean driving licence.
