Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support financial operations, assist with bookkeeping, and contribute to the organisation’s financial management processes. Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms.
- Support accounts payable processes by processing invoices and reconciling payments.
- Assist with financial reporting and bookkeeping tasks to ensure compliance with organisational policies.
- Collaborate with senior accountants to prepare financial statements and reports.
- Contribute to the organisation’s financial management by supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Help in the review of transactions for accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in mentoring programmes to develop professional skills within the finance team.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft.
- Strong understanding of financial services and basic financial accounting principles.
- Experience or familiarity with accounts payable processes and financial management tasks.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with an aptitude for teamwork and mentoring others.

Pay: £15,000.00-£20,000.00 per month
