Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating metal components using MIG welding techniques, ensuring precision and quality in all work. Duties
- Operate MIG welding equipment to assemble and fabricate metal parts according to specifications
- Use TIG welding when required to achieve precise welds on various materials
- Handle hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Work with sheet metal and other materials to produce components for assembly
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately
- Perform basic measurements and calculations using mathematical skills to ensure correct dimensions
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Conduct quality checks on finished work to meet company standards
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding with experience in <LOCATION> welding techniques
- Knowledge of TIG welding processes is desirable
- Strong ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely
- Solid understanding of sheet metal work and fabrication principles
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control purposes
- Experience in assembly processes within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality output

Pay: £31,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
