Amica Care is excited to be opening our brand - new Care home, Greenland's Meadow in August 2026! We are ready to start looking for a compassionate Senior Registered Nurse to join us from the very beginning. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in shaping a welcoming, person-centred home where residents are supported to live well.
The role:
As Senior Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing and care teams, using your judgement and experience to support safe, high-quality care. Working closely with the Registered Manager, leadership team, colleagues and healthcare professionals, you will mentor others, promote best practice and contribute to continuous improvement across the home. This role includes one supernumerary day per week, giving you dedicated time for leadership, mentoring, oversight and quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support safe, high quality clinical care
- Mentor nurses and senior carers, sharing knowledge and confidence
- Use your supernumerary time for leadership activities, audits, development and reflection
- Contribute to clinical decision making and service improvement
- Be part of a supportive, open and no blame culture
- Develop your leadership skills, with scope for progression
About You:
- Is a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Has experience in older people's care
- Has senior nursing experience, or the confidence and potential to step into a senior role
- Leads with empathy, professionalism and integrity
- Wants to make a genuine difference within a charity led organisation
