We’re looking for a dependable and motivated HGV Driver (Class 2 / Category C) to join our client at the Cheltenham depot. This is a great opportunity for both experienced drivers and newly qualified candidates who are ready to start a rewarding career in professional HGV driving.
You’ll work in a multi-drop, temperature‑controlled environment, ensuring every delivery is completed safely, accurately, and on time, while providing excellent customer service.
Shift Information
- Weekdays: Most rounds start between 22:00 – 03:00
- Saturday: No routes Saturday PM into Sunday AM
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV (Category C) vehicles in line with UK driving laws, Driver CPC, and tachograph regulations
- Complete multi-drop deliveries while maintaining stock rotation and product quality
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Load and unload products safely, including manual handling and use of handling equipment
- Follow all health & safety, food hygiene, and security procedures
- Work independently while building strong customer relationships
- Provide cover for colleagues during holidays or absences when required
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence – Category C essential
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays
