About OhMyFood: OhMyFood is launching the UK's first home-cooked food marketplace platform in London! We connect talented local home chefs with customers wanting freshly prepared meals for daily lunch and dinner. Our mission: make fresh, wholesome, home-cooked food more accessible. We are preparing for our Phase 1 launch in London.
Role Overview: We're seeking a creative, detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to help improve the full OhMyFood product experience across our website, customer app, chef platform, delivery captain flow, and admin dashboard.
This is a volunteer, remote role for our Phase 1 launch, with the potential to convert into a paid or full-time position as OhMyFood grows.
Your Mission: Drive comprehensive UI/UX improvements across our digital platforms, ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience from end-to-end.
What You'll Work On:
- Website, landing page, and app UI/UX improvements.
- Customer ordering, checkout, and delivery tracking flows.
- Chef onboarding, menu management, and dashboard journeys.
- Delivery captain and admin platform flows.
- Wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity Figma designs.
- Design consistency across typography, colours, buttons, spacing, and components.
- Fast design iterations based on user, founder, and engineering feedback.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in UI/UX, product design, web design, or app design.
- Strong working knowledge of Figma.
- Experience designing websites, mobile apps, dashboards, or marketplaces.
- Good understanding of user flows, wireframes, prototyping, and responsive design.
- Strong eye for layout, typography, spacing, colour, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to improve existing pages and flows, not just create new screens.
- Canva knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with food-tech, e-commerce, delivery apps, D2C, marketplaces, or consumer brands is a strong plus!
