Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding service, repair, and aftercare enquiries.
- Maintain clear and professional communication between customers and the workshop team.
- Ensure customers are kept informed throughout the repair and service process.
- Manage the allocation and administration of courtesy vehicles.
- Oversee invoicing and paid workshop repairs.
- Lead, support, and develop a small team of Service Advisors.
- Liaise closely with technicians to ensure the workshop operates efficiently and maintains our high standards of service.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and work towards positive resolutions.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within an automotive aftersales or service department (essential).
- Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills.
- A friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- The confidence to manage customer expectations and resolve issues effectively.
- Experience managing or supervising a team (preferred).
- Mechanical knowledge or technical understanding of vehicles (preferred).
- An understanding of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (advantageous, although training will be provided).
