This role reports to the Head Chef.
You'll play an important part in the day-to-day operation of our kitchen, taking ownership of your section and helping to deliver consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to specification, ensuring every plate meets our quality standards.
- Ensuring your section is organised, well stocked and service-ready at all times.
- Maintaining exceptional food safety, hygiene and health safety standards throughout every shift.
- Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver smooth, efficient service, while supporting and coaching more junior team members.
- Minimising waste and using ingredients efficiently to support kitchen profitability.
- Contributing ideas that enhance the guest experience while maintaining consistency and commercial awareness.
You're passionate about great food and take real pride in your work. You enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, remain composed under pressure and understand that the little details make a big difference.
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience as a Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie or an ambitious Commis Chef ready to take the next step.
- Strong cooking skills and attendtion to detail gained within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health safety standards.
- A positive, flexible attitude and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to support and develop others.
- A desire to learn, improve and contribute to the success of the wider kitchen team.
