About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Family Solicitor to join our growing legal team based in Birmingham City Centre. The successful candidate will specialise in private family law matters and manage their own caseload, providing expert legal advice and representation to clients throughout the legal process.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
- Advising clients on:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private children matters, including Child Arrangements Orders
- Non-Molestation Orders and related injunction applications
- Drafting legal documents, court applications, witness statements, consent orders and other legal correspondence.
- Representing clients at court hearings, negotiations and settlement discussions.
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
- Providing exceptional client care through clear communication, professionalism and empathy.
- Liaising with courts, counsel, experts and other third parties where required.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate.
- Experience handling private family law matters, including children, divorce, finances and non-molestation applications.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive and professional approach to client service.
