A registered Practitioner with Doctoral level training in educational and child psychology (or equivalent), you’ll have a degree accredited by the British Psychological Society. You’ll also be a Registered Member of the Health Care Profession Council eligible for Chartered Status.
EPs in WKC EPCS provide a high quality applied educational psychology consultation service across a range of educational, community and care settings (including early years, primary, secondary, post-16, Virtual School and Youth Justice Service) working collaboratively with a wide range of practitioners, parents/carers and children, young people and adults to contribute to positive outcomes for children and young people.
On a personal level, you’ll be reflective and self-aware, capable of evaluating the effectiveness of your work and practice. You’ll also be a natural communicator, with strong organisational, time management and interpersonal skills. More than anything, you’ll be passionate about improving the wellbeing of children, young people and their families.
