Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Aluminium Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw aluminium materials into precise, durable components used in our custom glazing and structural projects. Your expertise will help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety while supporting the seamless delivery of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Cut, shape, and assemble aluminium components using various hand tools and machinery to meet project specifications
- Perform fabrication tasks including grinding, welding, and finishing to achieve smooth, accurate results
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements to ensure precise assembly of sheet metal parts
- Operate tooling equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality aluminium structures
- Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain strict adherence to standards
- Assist with the installation of fabricated aluminium components on-site or in the workshop as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, grinding, welding, and assembly of aluminium or sheet metal products
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to metalworking tools and machinery
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations for measurements and cuts
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and tooling equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of sheet metal handling techniques and material properties of aluminium
- Good understanding of basic welding techniques and finishing processes
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout fabrication processes

Experience is essential and pay will reflect this. Hours of work are Mon-Thur 7.30am-4.30pm, Fri 7.30am-4pm
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
