Job Overview
We are looking for a Service Department Maintenance Coordinator to join our Maintenance team, who provide first-line maintenance support to our fleet and customers, customer satisfaction and communications skills will be vital in ensuring our first-class service is upheld. The successful candidate will become the first reference point for colleagues and customers alike in the instance of vehicle failure, service or MOT bookings providing first-class service to our customers. This role will be suited to an individual with automotive maintenance and/or customer service experience and a problem solving skill set, who can deliver exceptional customer service, within a fast-paced ever changing environment, have good organisational skills and the drive to work hard within an incredibly varied role. Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure all phone calls are answered in a timely manner.
- Emails responded to and up to date.
- Ensuring all breakdown calls are administered with appropriate actions applied efficiently.
- Use of the appropriate party to attend breakdowns ensuring fix first time.
- Processing MOT’s for ND Brown vehicles and liaising with customers to ensure all
Vehicles are MOT compliant.
- Arranging vehicle servicing in line with ND Brown / vehicle manufacturers service
schedules.
- Booking LOLER or other related tests when required.
- Processing of vehicle related fines inc Speeding & Penalty Charge notices etc and
recharging to Customers where applicable.
- Updating any service information onto the company r2c / syrinx systems.
- Proactively ensure that all vehicle fleet remains compliant.
- Monitoring of the fleet to make sure all vehicles are compliant with relevant legislation.
- Liaising with third party workshops & recovery providers and organising replacement
transport.
- Escalation of any non-attendances to relevant line Supervisor.
- Responsible for own health and safety and for the health and safety of your colleagues and your environment.
- Help and support as and when requested in the breakdown operations team.
- Any other task which may be a reasonable request during your day-to-day role.
Experience/Skills
- Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Service experience, knowledge, and understanding Is preferred.
- Excellent customer communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Effective administration and organizational skills with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work closely within a small team, supporting colleagues on a day-day basis
- Strong Computer skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office user, especially Excel
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to work with Company processes and procedures in mind.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. (Full time)
