This will include:
- Delivering workshops and activities within member clubs.
- Coordinating county-wide events, competitions and residential experiences.
- Supporting sessional staff and volunteers.
- Organising the National County Boxing Championships and other sporting events.
- Ensuring activities remain enjoyable, inclusive and engaging.
Membership Growth
Developing our membership network will be an important part of the role, where you will work proactively to promote the benefits of membership and encourage new organisations to become part of the LABGC family.
This will include:
- Identifying new youth clubs, sports clubs and community organisations.
- Promoting LABGC membership across Lancashire.
- Supporting new members through the affiliation process.
- Encouraging existing clubs to maximise the opportunities available through membership.
Partnerships & Community Engagement
Working alongside the Director, you will help strengthen relationships with schools, local authorities, voluntary organisations and community partners while identifying opportunities to work collaboratively.
This will include:
- Developing positive relationships with key partners.
- Representing LABGC at meetings, forums and community events.
- Promoting LABGC programmes and opportunities.
- Supporting collaborative projects that benefit young people.
Monitoring, Learning & Impact
Understanding the needs of young people and demonstrating the difference we make is essential to the future growth of LABGC.
You will help gather evidence that informs programme development while providing information that supports funding applications and organisational learning.
This will include:
- Monitoring participation and engagement.
- Recording outcomes and impact.
- Gathering feedback from young people and member clubs.
- Producing reports and case studies.
- Supporting funding reports and monitoring returns.
