Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality treatment. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
- Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment before and after procedures.
- Provide attentive patient care, addressing any concerns or questions to enhance their experience.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using practice management software.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up reminders to ensure optimal patient flow.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is required.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in IT systems for managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Experience of Dentally preferred
- A caring attitude towards patients with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
- Relevant qualifications and registration with GDC is mandatory.
