Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide essential assistance and guidance to individuals in Supported Accommodation. The successful candidate will play a vital part in creating a positive environment that promotes growth, learning, and well-being. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you support. The hours will grow with the progress of the business, eventually it will be 35 + hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Offer personalised support to vulnerable adults.
- Assist with daily activities, ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Support behavioural and emotional needs through empathetic communication and encouragement.
- Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to individual needs, fostering learning and skill development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to provide consistent support.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, activities, and any concerns in accordance with organisational policies.
- Promote positive behaviour strategies and reinforce social skills during interactions.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity and individual differences.
Requirements
- Experience or interest in working with Vulnerable adults.
- Skills in mentoring, teaching, or supporting individuals through developmental challenges.
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Organised approach to managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- A genuine commitment to supporting the wellbeing and development of others.

- Full UK driving license, and a vehicle.
Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
