Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests enjoy their experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills while working in a dynamic setting. Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidates. All roles are paid, including internships, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food efficiently and courteously to customers
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions with precision
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment as needed
- Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere and promote repeat business
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods through excellent time management skills
- Support team members to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy hours
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a personable manner
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
