Dura Mechanical is a growing Gas engineering and Plumbing contractor with over 20 years of industry experience, delivering projects nationwide. As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are looking for a Project Manager to help us scale.
We are hiring an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee our company's ongoing projects. You will manage programmes, subcontractors, budgets and client relationships. We expect you to work closely with your team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines and schedules are on track.
Key responsibilities will include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, coordinating and managing engineers and direct labour on-site, acting as the principal point of contact for clients and attending site meetings.
To succeed, you will need proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of varying sizes.
Duties
- Coordinating with team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines and schedules
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards
- Meeting with team members to identify and resolve issues
- Preparing status reports
- Establishing effective project communication plans
- Facilitating change requests to ensure all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
- One-to-ones with team members
- Ordering of materials for the project
- Organising RAMS for each project
- Check stock levels
- Taking site photos and documenting evidence of works
- Completing quality checklists
Requirements
- Several years' proven experience in project management.
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes.
- Able to complete projects in a timely manner
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Budget management experience
- Familiarity with health & safety legislation
- Understanding of 0 & M packs and as-fitted drawings
- Knowledge of reading & interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Strong client communication
- Experience writing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
