Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every cup
- Engage warmly with customers, providing friendly service and answering questions about our coffee offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee prep area, adhering to food safety standards at all times
- Manage cash register operations accurately, handling transactions efficiently with basic math skills
- Follow time management practices to ensure prompt service during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and food safety regulations
Experience
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with serving in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in handling beverages and food items
- Strong basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours
