Fetch Retail Ltd is a fast-growing ecommerce business operating multiple online stores and marketplaces. We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain & Inventory Planning Manager to take ownership of purchasing, inventory planning and stock availability across our business.
This is a hands-on role offering genuine ownership and the opportunity to improve processes, influence commercial decisions and help support our continued growth.
The Role
You'll be responsible for ensuring the right products are available at the right time while balancing stock levels, cash flow and supplier performance. You'll manage purchasing from UK and international suppliers, oversee inventory planning and develop more efficient replenishment processes.
You'll also play a key role in supporting repeat and subscription orders, improving forecasting accuracy and ensuring our inventory systems remain accurate and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of stock planning and replenishment across multiple suppliers and ecommerce channels.
- Forecast demand using sales data, inventory levels, supplier lead times and upcoming promotions.
- Raise and manage supplier purchase orders.
- Monitor stock availability and proactively prevent stock shortages.
- Balance stock levels to minimise both shortages and excess inventory.
- Plan inventory to support subscription and repeat customer orders.
- Manage relationships with UK and international suppliers.
- Track purchase orders and supplier deliveries.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify alternative sourcing where required.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with warehouse and ecommerce teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate product, supplier and purchasing data within StoreFeeder.
- Support new product creation and inventory setup.
- Develop and improve inventory planning processes, reporting and forecasting.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Previous experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, Purchasing, Merchandising or Stock Control.
- Experience managing supplier purchase orders.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, replenishment planning and demand forecasting.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with suppliers and internal teams.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership and improve processes.
Desirable
- Experience within ecommerce, retail, FMCG or high-SKU environments.
- Experience using StoreFeeder or similar inventory management software.
- Experience with Shopify or online marketplaces.
- Knowledge of subscription or repeat-order inventory planning.
- Experience managing multiple suppliers with varying lead times.
- Understanding of inventory KPIs and supplier performance reporting.
