Front of house FT 5 shifts - Sugardough Bakery Hove
We are looking for a talented person to join our lovely front of house team in our fabulous Hove bakery. We need someone with food service or waiting experience and strong barista skills. All applicants must have experience in a busy cafe/food environment. The role is full time 5 shifts per week, including weekdays and weekends. This role is unlikely to be suitable for students. The role isn't suitable for anyone planning to take significant time off over summer.
We don’t do stiff formal service, just attentive, friendly & fast service. We are a local bakery and you need to be able to build rapport with our regular customers. You must be energetic, have personality, be driven and dedicated to doing the best job you can. You must be able to sell our food (please note we use a lot of gluten, organic eggs, butter and cream) and an interest in good food is an advantage!
Applicants MUST be available to work across weekends, school holidays as well as shifts during the week. Morning shifts start at 7.30am and afternoon shifts finish at approx. 6.30pm. Please do not apply if you are unable to work these hours or weekends.
You must have the following experience:
· Previous experience working in a busy customer focused food environment
· Barista skills (we can polish)
· Excellent customer service skills
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· A professional manner and be very presentable
· Excellent written and spoken English
· You must also be eligible to work full time in the UK
