As Digital Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Digital Enquiry team, ensuring every online customer enquiry is managed professionally and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards across all digital customer interactions, working closely with the Sales Management team to ensure a seamless customer journey from initial enquiry through to showroom visit. Role Overview
As Digital Enquiry Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing the Digital Enquiry team, ensuring all digital enquiries—including email, live chat, AI, telephone and online platforms—are managed effectively and converted into quality showroom appointments.
Working closely with the Sales Managers, you will oversee the daily operation of the department, monitor team performance against key performance indicators, provide coaching and support, and identify opportunities to improve enquiry conversion and customer satisfaction. You will ensure processes are consistently followed, customer communications remain of the highest standard, and the Digital team contributes to achieving the dealership's overall sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop the Digital Enquiry team to achieve individual and departmental performance targets.
- Oversee the management of all digital enquiries, ensuring timely, professional and effective customer communication across all platforms.
- Work closely with the Sales Managers to maximise showroom appointments and improve enquiry conversion rates.
- Ensure all customer interactions are handled to the highest standard, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Review and improve digital enquiry processes to maximise efficiency and sales opportunities.
- Oversee the accurate maintenance of customer records using CRM and other business systems.
- Support the team with complex customer enquiries, vehicle information, additional products, finance quotations and part-exchange valuations where required.
- Ensure deposits are processed accurately and company procedures are followed.
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance performance, productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and training to support the ongoing development of the Digital team.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a Digital Manager, Sales Manager or similar leadership role, ideally within the automotive industry.
- Proven experience managing, coaching and developing a successful team.
- Strong understanding of digital sales processes, online lead management and CRM systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work within a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance data and improve results.
- High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle finance, part-exchange processes and the customer buying journey is desirable.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and driving team performance.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
