We are looking for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join our team with knowledge and experience in dealing with Machine shops, negotiating, arranging machining, ordering material to set specifications, excellent communication skills, good eye for detail and good organisational skills to run, maintain and improve an effective procurement service to benefit the business. Working closely with senior management to constantly improve purchasing performance.
The successful individual requires a knowledge of industry, good people management skills and the drive to work hard to ensure that all company procedures and contractual agreements are adhered to and driving our company KPIs and values · Plan, organise and manage all activities related to the purchasing functions.
· Plan, organise and manage all activities related to the purchasing functions.
· Documenting and managing Supplier Quality Registrations.
· Working closely with Production and Stores to determine requirements, set priorities and
communicate delivery dates for Parts/Stocks required.
· Ensuring accurate information is issued on all Phuel Purchase Orders to ensure
requirements are understood and met.
· Liaising with Suppliers to source quality products, good sustainable prices and deliveries to meet or better the estimated costs issued by sales.
· Meeting with current and existing suppliers to see and appreciate their capacities to build
long term relationships to benefit both parties.
· Assist Production, where required arranging and manage/set-up Equipment/Plant
Maintenance Contracts, Transport contracts and Workshop Clothing/Consumables
requirements.
Working with the Finance team to ensure smooth transition from delivery to invoice
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
