Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team specialising in house removals. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient transportation of household goods, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in logistics, and manual handling within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- safely load and unload household items onto lorries, including other vehicles, ensuring secure placement to prevent damage during transit.
- assist with packing and unpacking belongings, adhering to health and safety standards.
- communicate with clients to confirm and address any special requirements.
- assist with warehouse organisation and inventory management if/as needed.
- must be punctual and able to follow instructions
Experience
- strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- experience handling household good or working in a removals environment is beneficial but not essential. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of physical labour, and excellent communication abilities to ensure smooth operations during house removals.
