About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Tipper Driver who can also support our team with appliance deliveries and installations. This is a dual‑function role that combines driving, safe transportation of materials, and hands‑on installation work within residential properties. You will play an important part in ensuring our maintenance and refurbishment teams receive the equipment and appliances they need on time and in good condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a tipper vehicle safely and in accordance with company and legal requirements.
- Transport materials, waste, and equipment between sites, stores, and disposal facilities.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring safe handling at all times.
- Deliver, install, and test domestic appliances (e.g., washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens).
- Remove and return faulty appliances to the store or disposal point as required.
- Complete basic installation tasks, including connecting water, waste, and electrical fittings where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate delivery and collection records.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, roadworthy, and compliant with safety standards.
- Support the wider maintenance team with general duties when required.
Skills & Experience
- Valid UK driving licence (tipper experience essential).
- Previous experience in appliance installation or a similar hands‑on role.
- Good understanding of manual handling and safe lifting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude when attending tenant properties.
- Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical connections (training can be provided).
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑conscious.

Pay: £24,420.00-£39,913.33 per year
