ABOUT THE ROLE:
At Kingspan, we're passionate about delivering innovative building envelope solutions that help create high-performance, sustainable buildings. We are looking for a Field Technical Services Engineer to join our growing technical team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with roofing and cladding industry experience who enjoys working directly with customers, contractors and colleagues, providing technical expertise and supporting projects from installation through to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Field Technical Services Engineer, you will:
- Provide expert guidance on the installation of Kingspan, Eurobond and Euroclad products.
- Carry out detailed site inspections and produce professional reports.
- Verify roofing and cladding installations comply with specifications and company standards.
- Support customers through product, installation and best-practice training.
- Deliver training sessions at Kingspan facilities, customer locations and online via Teams.
- Attend specification, design and contractor meetings.
- Work closely with Sales, Technical and Operations teams to support customer projects.
- Help identify opportunities for continuous improvement through customer and site feedback.
- Promote compliance with quality, environmental, health and safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience within the roofing and cladding industry.
- Knowledge of product installation, site practices and contractual requirements.
- Understanding of building regulations and insurance requirements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organisational and report-writing abilities.
- Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach.
- The ability to work at height and operate safely on construction sites.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A collaborative team-player mindset.
