Job Description
- To deliver accurate, compliant, and timely end-to-end payroll processing for UK employees using SAP SuccessFactors. The role ensures strict adherence to UK legislation while driving continuous improvement, automation, and service excellence within a shared services environment.
Job Description
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll for employees in UK in an accurate and timely manner
- Managing payroll related queries and resolving any discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensuring adherence to current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws specifically for Ireland and HMRC Regulations
- Maintain full compliance with HMRC regulations, RTI submissions (FPS/EPS), and UK employment legislation
- Perform and evidence payroll controls, including: Pre-payroll validation checks, Exception reporting and variance analysis, Post-payroll reconciliations
- Support audit requirements and ensure alignment with SOX / internal control frameworks (where applicable)
- Support system enhancements, testing cycles (UAT), and defect resolution including system improvements and releases
- Identify and deliver process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and employee experience
- Contribute to automation initiatives within SuccessFactors and downstream processes
- Support payroll transformation projects, including standardisation and best practice adoption
- Collaborating with the Time and Attendance team for UK to ensure timely and accurate submission of information
- Collaborating with local HR teams
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Preparing and submitting reports as required
Essential Criteria
- Proficiency in relevant payroll software, specifically SAP Success Factors Payroll
- Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and procedures relevant to UK and HMRC
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel)
- Proactive team player
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
