Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Newspaper Delivery Person to bring daily news and information directly to our local community members. Responsibilities
- Deliver newspapers along assigned routes promptly each morning between 6:30am to 8:30am 3 to 4 days per week ensuring all deliveries are accurate and complete
- Navigate through neighborhoods using safe driving practices, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Load newspapers into your car or bike managing lifting when necessary to handle bundles of papers
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times or address issues, building positive relationships within the community
- Keep accurate records of deliveries made, noting any missed or damaged papers for follow-up
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a newspaper delivery person or in a similar role is preferred, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to work early mornings as required by delivery schedule
