Craggs Energy Ltd is a well-established fuel distributor looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team based at our depot in Padiham.
The role involves delivering small quantities of kerosene, red diesel and Derv to domestic and commercial customers using a Ford Ranger.
For the right candidate, there will be the opportunity to progress and train to become a fully qualified Class 2 fuel delivery driver, learning the role from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Load the vehicle daily at the depot while following operational procedures and Health & Safety guidelines
- Complete multiple deliveries per day to domestic and commercial customers
- Deliver kerosene, road diesel and gas oil safely and efficiently
- Install tank gauges at domestic customer premises when required
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed correctly and returned to the office at the end of each shift
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and maintenance
- Maintain regular communication with the office regarding deliveries
- Assist with general yard duties when required
Experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Hold a valid UK driving licence for at least 12 months
- No more than 3 points on your licence
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
- Good customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of handheld power tools
Experience

- Minimum 1 year driving experience
Preferred
- Delivery driver or multi-drop experience
Training
- ADR awareness training provided
- No CPC or ADR licence required
