Job Description:
We are looking for hardworking and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our dedicated team temporarily. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and capable of delivering high-quality teaching across various year groups in secondary schools to any classes with absent teachers. This role requires flexibility and the ability to step into different classroom settings across Leeds with confidence and competence to control the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the school's curriculum and policies.
- Getting to each school on time.
- Adapting to different classroom environments and year groups as required to control the classroom.
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies as.
- Providing feedback and assessments as needed to support student progress.
- Collaborating with permanent staff to ensure continuity of education.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching within the secondary phase.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility and reliability to work at short notice.
- A genuine passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
