We are seeking a caring and reliable Home Care Assistant, to support individuals in their daily lives, whilst living in their own home.
The successful candidate will join a team of professional and friendly carer's. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives, through dedicated support and companionship.
Duties will include:
- Assist service user's with daily activities such as personal hygiene and dressing
- Support with meal preparation
- Assist with medication
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes
- Support with light household tasks
- Drive service user's to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
- Communicate effectively with service user's , family members, and healthcare teams to ensure personalised care is delivered
- Use IT systems to update records and communicate relevant information efficiently
- Qualifications
- Experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely is preferred
- Good understanding of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Compassionate attitude with strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support and have an interest in developing their skills within the health and social care sector.
Pay: £13.50-£19.50 per hour
