Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and skilled Sub Contractor Painters and Decorators to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across various internal leisure centres. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure client satisfaction. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes and decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail.
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to complete work efficiently and safely.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members to coordinate tasks and clarify requirements.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, spray guns, scaffolding, and ladders to execute decorating tasks.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
- Complete work within designated timelines while maintaining high standards of quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Ability to operate driving vehicles or equipment necessary for transporting materials or accessing job sites.
- Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and convey information effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering flawless finishes.
- Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, lifting materials
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting equipment and working at heights.
- Ability to collaborate well within a team environment while working independently when required.
