Connect Appointments is recruiting a Forklift Driver to join our East Kilbride-based manufacturing client on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

What's on offer?

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (early finish on Fridays)

£13.33 per hour, increasing to £13.99 after probation (around 12 weeks)

As a Forklift Driver, your duties will include:

Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy industrial environment

Stacking, moving and relocating goods to designated storage and loading areas

Unloading deliveries and consolidating partial pallets
-
Keeping forklift operating areas clear of spills and obstructions
-
Carrying out regular equipment checks and reporting any faults
The ideal Forklift Driver will have:

A valid Counterbalance licence

Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Good spatial awareness and attention to detail
-
A solid understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements

The ability to work well as part of a team
