Job Title: Generator Field Service Engineer
Salary: £45,000.00 - £65,000.00 + OT + Van & FC + On Call Payment
Location: Manchester
Shift: 45hrs per week (Mon-Fri) + Overtime Available
We are seeking a skilled Generator Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring equipment is serviced, maintained and repaired to the highest standard whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Generator Engineer / Fitter / Technician Key Responsibilities
- Service, inspect, calibrate and certify equipment as required
- Diagnose faults and repair a wide range of equipment including (but not limited to): welding equipment, generators, compressors and electrical tooling
- Maintain all equipment to high standards of functionality, cleanliness and compliance
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with company processes and industry standards

Generator Engineer / Fitter / Technician About You
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Previous experience working on COMAH sites is beneficial but not essential
- Strong team player with the ability to support others and collaborate effectively
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach to workload, priorities and working environments (including lone working)
