Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, drive sales and lead the team in delivering outstanding customer service. With 5–8 new London locations planned over the next 12 months, this role offers strong opportunities for rapid career progression and promotion. Retail or hospitality management experience is required; additional languages are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales goals.
- Assist in managing staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure merchandising standards are maintained, including stock organisation and presentation.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue.
- Maintain accurate administrative records related to sales, inventory, and staff schedules.
- Organise stock replenishment and oversee inventory management processes.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and organisational skills.
- Participate in the daily tasks of the team
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a retail environment.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in sales management, team management, and merchandising is preferred.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively under pressure.
- Previous administrative experience related to retail operations is advantageous.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate communication with a diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of retail management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology is beneficial.

Pay: £29,420.00-£51,478.67 per year
