Pharmacy Stock Assistant
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
Location: On Site
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Pharmacy Stock Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our stock and inventory operations.
This is a hands-on role involving stock handling, goods-in processing, inventory organisation, and supporting the wider team to ensure medications and pharmacy supplies are managed efficiently.
Previous pharmacy or stock control experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and unpacking deliveries
- Lifting, moving and storing stock safely
- Organising and maintaining stock areas
- Replenishing stock as required
- Checking deliveries against orders and reporting discrepancies
- Working with medications and pharmacy consumables in accordance with company procedures
- Carrying out stock counts and inventory checks
- Assisting management with stock control and inventory planning
- Ensuring stock areas remain clean, organised, and efficient
- Supporting the wider pharmacy team with stock-related tasks
- Following all health and safety and manual handling procedures
Essential Skills and Experience
- Good organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting boxes throughout the day
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Positive and proactive approach to work
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Previous stock, warehouse, retail, pharmacy, or inventory experience
- Basic IT skills and confidence using computer systems
- Experience working with inventory management systems
- Understanding of stock rotation and stock control processes

Pay: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 42.5 per week
