Independent Prescribing Pharmacist – Weight Loss Service
Location: Central London / Marylebone
Rate: £30 per hour

We are looking for a GPhC registered Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to support our private clinic with our weight loss service.
The role will involve providing professional weight management consultations, assessing patient suitability for treatment, prescribing where clinically appropriate, counselling patients, and supporting safe ongoing monitoring and follow-up.
Main duties include:
- Carrying out private weight loss consultations
- Assessing patient medical history, BMI, contraindications and suitability
- Prescribing weight loss medication where appropriate, including GLP-1 treatments
- Providing clear patient counselling and aftercare advice
- Monitoring treatment progress and side effects
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Working safely in line with clinical protocols, professional guidance and clinic policies
- Supporting the development of a high-quality private weight management service
Requirements:
- GPhC registered Pharmacist
- Independent Prescriber qualification
- Experience or strong knowledge of weight management services
- Confidence with private patient consultations
- Good understanding of GLP-1 weight loss treatments
- Excellent communication and clinical record keeping
- Professional, friendly and organised approach
- Previous private clinic experience is desirable but not essential
Rate: £30 per hour
