Job Overview
I'm looking for a motivated Self Employed Labourer / Trainee to join my small team.
We will be working side by side in the hope to develop someone I can trust and is keen to grow and play a key role in the company.
MUST BE ABLE TO GET TO AROUND THE CLAIRE PARK AREA IN MAIDSTONE BY 6AM,
Will then be picked up in my van and taken to job then dropped back to Claire park once done for the day.

The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their skills and knowledge under supervision, with the flexibility of self-employment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to undertake physical tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Assisting with various manual labour tasks on-site, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Supporting skilled tradespeople with their daily activities and project requirements
- Preparing work areas by cleaning, organising tools, and setting up equipment
- Learning and performing basic construction or maintenance tasks under supervision
- Following health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace throughout the project duration
- Assisting with site clearance and waste disposal as needed
Skills
- Basic physical fitness with the ability to undertake manual labour tasks for extended periods
- A respect for old techniques and traditional materials.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced professionals
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures (training can be provided)
- Prior experience in construction or similar trades is advantageous but not essential
