Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble truck bodies
- Measure, cut, drill, and fit components accurately to ensure proper alignment and fit
- Install various parts such as panels, doors, lighting, and hardware with precision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the workshop
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience or experience working in a manufacturing or engineering background preferred
- Experience with MIG welding and alloy welding would be helpful to this role
- Familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, and measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Motivation to learn new skills and grow within the industry
40 hour working week Monday-Friday with the option to do overtime
Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
