Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Survey that is ideally looking to reduce their hours. Must have experience in contracting preferably in new build housing or other sectors within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Monitor project expenses continuously, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, verify quantities, and ensure work aligns with contractual specifications.
- Manage change orders by evaluating their financial impact and negotiating adjustments with stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions, contracts, and variations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with management, contractors, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual obligations related to financial management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Excellent understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and legal considerations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field are preferred.
Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
