The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving plant performance across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
- Responding effectively to breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Supporting the safe and efficient operation of all engineering systems
- Working collaboratively with the wider engineering and operations teams
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and food safety standards
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys problem‑solving in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Essential:
- Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications
- Experience within a food manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- A proactive, flexible and reliable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
