We are currently recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants for a range of exciting opportunities across Manchester and Greater Manchester, starting in September 2026.

We have opportunities available across both primary and secondary schools, including general classroom support, 1:1 support and specialist SEND positions.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils achieve their full potential.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons and learning activities
- Providing targeted support to individual pupils or small groups
- Working with pupils who require additional learning or SEND support
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
- Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources
- Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining high expectations
- Supporting pupils during lessons, break times and other school activities
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and other school staff
- Providing feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil progress and development
What We're Looking For
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent relevant experience
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- A genuine passion for education and supporting pupils
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, resilience and a positive attitude
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
