PART-TIME CHEFLittle Monster by the Bay – Bracklesham Bay
We’re looking for an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Chef to join our small, friendly team at Little Monster by the Bay.
We’re a relaxed, independent taproom and restaurant just moments from the beach, serving stone-baked pizzas, smashed burgers, small plates and freshly prepared dishes.
THE ROLE
You’ll be working alongside our Head Chef and will need to be confident stepping into the kitchen and getting on with the job.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
- Working across our pizza, burger and small-plates menu
- Supporting the Head Chef during busy services
- Preparing ingredients and completing kitchen prep
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Helping with stock control and reducing food waste
- Keeping the kitchen organised, clean and ready for service
- Working calmly and efficiently when things get busy
- Being a positive and reliable member of our small team
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous professional kitchen experience – essential
- Is confident working in a busy kitchen environment
- Can work independently when required
- Is reliable, organised and punctual
- Takes pride in the food they send out
- Has good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Is happy working as part of a small, friendly team
- Can be flexible with shifts, particularly evenings and weekends
You don't need to come from a fine-dining background. We're much more interested in someone who can cook great food consistently, stay calm when we're busy and bring a good attitude to the kitchen.
HOURS
Part-time, with hours and shifts to be agreed.
Evening and weekend availability will be required.
