HGV HIAB Driver
Summary: Immediate start available for the right candidate
· Working hours Monday to Friday / day shift
· Weekend and night shift work available
· Competitive salary starting Salary: £20-£25 per hour PAYE or Self Employed depending on experance and existing qulifactions.
· Carry out single or multiple drops from company depot to customers
· Ensure the vehicle is driven and maintained in an appropriate manner
· Ensure loading/offloading is carried out correctly and safely
· Daily vehicle walk around / defect sheets must be completed before vehicle leaves depot
· Report defects to management in a timely manner
· Tachograph and documents completed in a timely manner
· Live within a commutable distance to the Company’s depot
· 2 References required
Experience:
· Minimum 1 years HGV driving
· Minimum of 3 years overall driving experience.
· Minimum 1 years HIAB experience a must
· Must be over the age of 25 years (for insurance)
The Person:
· Clean Driving Licence Class 1 or 2 {C+E} {No Points}
· Valid Driver Qualification Card
· CPC or ALMI crane operator certification and experience
· Lorry loader (HIAB) licence and experience (required for Hiab)
· Experience in loading and offloading plant a must
· Can complete documentation prior to departure in order that goods can be tracked
· Can fill out delivery notes with correct information & sign off as per company policy
· A team player with a friendly and approachable manner
· Security conscious, actively safeguard against theft of company property/goods
- Safety Critical Medical & Load and Secure (Favourable)
- Full training, Load & Secure and ADR will be arranged.
