Job Title: Fabricator/Welder
Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be an integral part of our operations, responsible for fabricating and welding various components. This position is based in [Warrington], and we are looking for a candidate with expertise in welding and fabrication processes.
Experience:
Working on sites installing platforms walkways and other items of steelwork.
- Prior experience in welding and fabrication preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to work with sheet metal and other materials
- Knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations
Responsibilities:
- Weld and assemble components according to specifications
- Fabricate parts using various techniques
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project requirements are met
- Conduct quality checks on finished products
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the fabrication process
Requirements:
- Proficient in stick welding techniques
- Mechanical knowledge for fabricating parts accurately
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the fabrication environment
