Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient experienced Barista to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, adhering to company recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained throughout food preparation and service.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly assistance and recommendations when needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Restock supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards by engaging positively with customers and addressing any concerns professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene is desirable.
- Experience in serving customers with courtesy and professionalism.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends as required.
