SALARY £25,459 (pro-rata)
To support the smooth day-to-day operation of The Deafness Resource Centre (DRC) by assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of services, with a particular focus on supporting the Children and Family Team and Communication Service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Support the planning and delivery of DRC services, including the preparation of resources and information, and responding appropriately to referrals and bookings within the Children and Family Team and Communication Service.
2. Respond to customer enquiries received via email, telephone and in person in an efficient, professional, polite and sensitive manner.
3. Ensure service data is accurately recorded, maintained and managed in accordance with organisational data protection policies and procedures.
4. Maintain systems and processes for gathering and monitoring performance data, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to support the production of informative reports.
5. Liaise with external organisations, agencies and partners to support the effective delivery of Deafness Resource Centre services, appropriately signpost clients and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
6. Create, edit and coordinate promotional materials to promote DRC services and activities across social media platforms, the organisation's website and local media.
7. Manage and develop the day-to-day delivery of DRC's social media platforms, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, up to date and responsive to current trends and best practice.
8. Manage the BSL translated video service, including liaising with external organisations to agree briefs and requirements, coordinating content and undertaking video editing as required.
9. Undertake general administrative and office duties, including the secure shredding of confidential information and scanning and filing documents.
10. Comply with all organisational policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
11. Undertake appropriate training and professional development opportunities to maintain and develop the knowledge and skills required to fulfil the role effectively.
12. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities that are reasonably required and fall within the remit and purpose of the role..
