A Patisserie Junior Commis Chef is required for a exciting and successful upscale retail concept based in Sevenoaks in Kent. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting the kitchen team and should be able to work full days.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and making best in class products to the required standards
- Keep Kitchen and Food Preparation areas clean and organized
- Ensuring all Health & Safety, Food Hygiene procedures are adhered to at all times
- Assist in Stock Control and cleanliness of ingredients and finished goods stores
- Ensuring deliveries are put away properly
Candidate Profile & Experience
- Experience as a kitchen assistant or commis chef in a commercial patisserie kitchen ideal and preferred. Must be able to hit the ground running
- Positive and cheery disposition – ability to work with different personalities is a must
- Flexible and adaptive – ability to work under changing conditions and under pressure is a must
- Good communication skills and ability to take instruction
- Organised & Excellent attention to detail
