Working Hours: Typically Monday to Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work required for viewings, inspections or business needs.
About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Property & Lettings Coordinator to join M&A Properties.
Reporting to the Property Manager, you will work closely with both the Property Manager and Lettings Administrator to support the day-to-day management of our portfolio of 120 residential and commercial properties.
This is a varied role that provides support across property management, lettings, maintenance coordination, compliance and administration. You will play an important part in ensuring our properties are well managed, our tenants receive an excellent service and the department continues to operate efficiently.
How You'll Support the Team
- Work alongside the Property Manager and Lettings Administrator to support the day-to-day operation of our residential and commercial property portfolio.
- Assist with coordinating maintenance requests, liaising with contractors and monitoring works through to completion.
- Support the scheduling of property inspections, viewings, check-ins and check-outs, preparing reports and documentation where required.
- Assist with the marketing of available properties, responding to enquiries and supporting prospective tenants throughout the application process.
- Help prepare tenancy documentation, including tenancy agreements, referencing and Right to Rent checks.
- Support the administration of rental accounts by assisting with rent monitoring, tenant communications and arrears follow-up where required.
- Support the management of statutory compliance.
- Maintain accurate property, tenancy and compliance records using the company's property management systems.
- Liaise professionally with tenants, contractors and suppliers, ensuring enquiries are responded to promptly and efficiently.
- Assist with general property administration, reporting and departmental tasks to support the smooth running of the Property team.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business, providing additional support where required to ensure a consistently high standard of service.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Previous experience within residential lettings, property management or a similar property-based role.
Knowledge of current residential lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
Proficient in Google Workspace.
Full UK driving licence, as regular travel to managed properties is required.
Desirable
Experience using property management software.
Experience coordinating maintenance works and working with contractors.
Experience within both residential and commercial property is advantageous.
