Duties
- Lead the architecture and development of complex software applications utilizing technologies such as AWS, Azure, and various programming languages including C#, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript frameworks like React and Angular.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to enable seamless integration across platforms using SOAP, WCF, XML, JSON, and other data interchange formats.
- Develop front-end interfaces with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, UI frameworks, and JavaScript libraries to deliver engaging user experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications using UML diagrams and application design best practices.
- Write clean, efficient code with a focus on unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards.
- Manage databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Oracle by designing schemas and optimizing queries with T-SQL or PL/SQL.
- Contribute to microservices architecture development using Node.js,.NET Core, or Java Spring Boot to ensure modularity and scalability of applications.
- Utilize version control systems like Git, GitHub, SVN, or TFS for source code management; participate in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient delivery.
- Apply Linux shell scripting or Bash for automation tasks; leverage cloud services for deployment and scaling of applications.
- Engage in application development activities including UI/UX design enhancements with Bootstrap or custom CSS/HTML; implement features using ASP.NET MVC or Web API frameworks.
Experience
- Proven experience in software development with a strong background in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles across multiple languages such as C#, Java, Python or Ruby.
- Extensive hands-on experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in front-end development using Angular or React frameworks combined with HTML5/CSS3 for responsive design.
- Solid understanding of database design principles along with proficiency in SQL (T-SQL or PL/SQL), NoSQL databases like MongoDB or document stores.
- Familiarity with web services protocols including RESTful APIs and SOAP-based services; experience integrating third-party APIs is a plus.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns; experience with Docker containers and orchestration tools is advantageous.
- Strong debugging skills coupled with experience in unit testing frameworks to ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Ability to work effectively within an Agile environment utilizing tools such as JIRA or TFS for project management.

Pay: £43,343.00-£55,000.00 per year
