Dougie Mac is seeking a Compassionate and Skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our innovative Community Team. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality palliative and end-of-life care across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will:

Deliver holistic, person-centred care for patients with life-limiting illnesses (e.g. cancer, MND, heart failure, lung disease).

Work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and supporting patients and their families at home.

Contribute to service development, audits, and education of colleagues.

Use your leadership and communication skills to act as a patient advocate and role model in palliative care.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:

A Registered Nurse with at least 3 years’ post-registration experience - this is essential.

Experienced in palliative or end-of-life care.

Skilled in communication, leadership, and teamwork.

Motivated, flexible, and committed to delivering the highest standards of care.

A car owner/driver (essential for community visits).

Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 FTE per annum (Depending on knowledge, skills & experience)
Hours: 30 hours a week (shifts include working early, lates & weekends)
